- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had my kitten neutered and vaccinated at PAWS. The overall experience was good. My little boy didn't have any issues. My only problem was that I was told I did not need a cone for him. I asked if I could have one just in case and was told that was alright. Never got one. The information pamphlet about after care said that the area is not supposed to be licked by the animal (keep the area dry). As soon as we got home he started licking it (like any animal would). So I had to go buy a cone which isn't the problem. It is unprofessional for a vet to know that animals like to lick and not prevent it. Especially after I was told I would be able to receive one from PAWS. Everything else was very pleasant. We had to wait a while but that's no problem. He healed great and didn't have any complications. Thank you for taking such good care of him! He's the first animal that is my responsibility and I was very worried about getting him neutered.
